Stratford Racecourse has been operating since 1755. Nowadays, we have 18 meetings a year, most of which take place within the summer months. Equipped with a new glass-fronted Grandstand (opened in 1997) and having won a major award for the care of the racetrack, we are proud to be in the top flight of Britain's smaller courses.
Cotswold Information
In the Cotswolds you will also find plenty to do in this beautiful corner of England - a magnificent parkland with spectacular walks and scenery. Linked by the wool industry, a wealthy industry of yesteryear to which many of these towns owe their initial prosperity. It is an area of contrasts and there is so much to discover you'll want to come back for more!
Due to its central location in the north Cotswolds, Chipping Campden is a perfect place to visit. You can enjoy the delights not only of this charming old wool merchants' town, but also the nearby surrounding Cotswold villages - all in their charming honey colours and thatched roofs.
